WHAT IS THE SERVICE?
Greenfone provides a mobile phone service. We provide the ability to make and receive calls over our network. When you register, you will be allocated a Greenfone mobile number. You can make and receive calls over the Internet using this number. This is achieved by using either a soft phone on a PC or our new Nokia Mobile Dialler. Our suggested mobile dialler works on Nokia Phones supporting the Symbian operating system and allows you to connect to a Wi-Fi connection or use a normal 3G mobile networks data connection from any 3G mobile operator. You will need to check with the mobile network operator to see if you get unlimited data. We also recommend other GSM/3G phones which have a SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) client in them such as the Nokia range of phones.

HOW CAN YOU USE IT?
If you are looking for a phone service which allows you to make calls from your office or home using your Internet Connection, then Greenfone can provide this service. All calls on our network between our customers are free. If you are a company with different office locations, including some home workers, then calls between people on our network would be free of charge. These offices or locations could be anywhere in the world which has an Internet connection. With our new Mobile Dialler, you can now use our service anywhere in the world where you can get either a WiFi connection or a 3G data link on any Mobile phone network.
